Soma Smoothies:
My son Karim has recently launched the world's first 100%
certified organic range of fruit juice smoothies and they
really are delicious, Im not saying so just 'cause
I'm his Dad.
They are in 250 ml bottles available in most health food
stores and cost about £1.99.
Flavours include:
Jungle Juice - a blend of mangoes, bananas, apples, apricots
and strawberries, jacked up with green superfoods like spirulina,
blue green algae and wheat grass juice. But the fruits make
the healthy but somewhat cringe-making green stuff totally
palatable.
Tropical C - boosted with organic acerola juice extract,
Tropical C is crisp, fresh and fruity with strong pineapple
banana, guava, passion fruit and vanilla flavour.
Lively Lassi - stuffed with prebiotics like chicory root
extract (rich in fructo-oligo-saccharides) and flax seeds
and oat bran, Lively Lassi uses milky coconut juice with
peaches and blueberries to create a smooth, tummy-loving
drink.
Fruity Roots - a dash of ginger spices up this blend of
carrot, beetroot, apple, mango and orange juices, with a
hint of celery. Redder than tomato juice and full of beta-carotene
and anthyocyanins.
